On 9 February 2026, Prof. Wojciech Nawrocik, passed away. He was an outstanding personality in Polish physics—a scholar, teacher and mentor, popularizer of science, and an organizer and administrator of scientific research. Requiescat in pace.

The elections in the Nuclear Physics Section of the Polish Physical Society have concluded.
The committee has determined that the elected members of the SFJ Board are:
Maria Kmiecik, Michał Kowal, Michał Warda, Paweł Napiorkowski, and Elżbieta Stephan.
The elected members of the SFJ Audit Committee are:
Piotr Bednarczyk, Artur Dobrowolski, and Monika Paluch-Ferszt.
