The elections in the Nuclear Physics Section have ended.

The new Board of SFJ was elected, composed of:

Paweł Napiorkowski,
Elżbieta Stephan,
Michał Warda.

Piotr Bednarczyk,
Artur Dobrowolski,
Grzegorz Jaworski

will work in the Audit Commeete.

Full results of the elections can be found on the PPS website. The new authorities of the Section will begin their term of office on the 1st of January 2022.

The elections of the Management Board and the Revision Committee for the term of office 2022-2025 are underway.

Voting takes place electronically from November 3 to 10, 2021, via the membership profile. After logging into ptf.net.pl, click the button with the word “Elections” on the bar on the left side of the screen, and then the “Candidates” button in the window regarding the current elections. A list of candidates will then appear, along with the information they have provided. Tick the candidates to be supported and then complete the voting procedure by pressing the button at the bottom of the page. Votes can be cast from 6:00 a.m. on November 3 until 11:59 p.m November 10.

We are pleased to announce that we are starting a series of research seminars planned at FAIR, Darmstadt (Germany). The seminars will be held approximately once a month, in a hybrid system: live and via the ZOOM messenger.

The series of seminars will be inaugurated by a lecture by prof. Paolo Giubelino (FAIR) Fri “FAIR Project”, which will be held on October 27, 2021 at 10:00 at WFIAS UJ, room A-1-08 (link to Zoom will be provided later)
